The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, February 23 suggests Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will open up about his feelings for Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan).
Also coming up, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will hope a little romance will go a long way. Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will ask Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) how he really feels. And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be bitter.
Y&R spoilers tease Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will arrive home to find roses and sparkling rosé waiting for her, courtesy of Kyle. She’ll look perturbed, but Kyle’s not giving up. “Whether you stay or go, I’m going to keep apologizing until you hear me,” he’ll say. Then he’ll get a call from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Kyle will answer and tell him not to involve him in any more of his schemes. Kyle will say he’s transferring the textile companies to Marchetti. So it all worked out in the end. Then Summer will kiss him.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Adam Tells Chelsea Sally Is Pregnant
Meanwhile, Nick will tell Sally the baby being Adam’s isn’t an issue – he still wants to be with her. But Sally will ask him how he really feels. “The truth is I’m more than disappointed,” Nick will reply. “I’m devastated. I really wanted it.” He’ll also warn Sally that Adam will use this situation to reinsert himself in her life. They’ll have sex (what else is new?) and afterwards, as Nick sleeps, Sally will touch her stomach and look miserable.
At Crimson Lights, Adam will ask Chelsea to join him for a walk. She’ll approach Billy at the coffee shop counter and tell him Adam needs her. He’ll say no problem, but he’ll look disappointed. They’ll head to the park and Adam will lay it all out. Sally’s pregnant and he’s the father. But she’s staying with Nick. Chelsea will say she hates seeing him so bitter.
“Nick is so damn entitled, he takes and he takes and he takes,” Adam will say. “I may be the kid’s biological father but he gets the woman, he gets the family, the cushy job at Newman.” He’ll seethe that Nick will be spending all the day to day time with the woman that he loves. Not to mention he’s already got Christian. And Adam will lament allowing Nick to raise him. But Chelsea will say they did right by the children they gave up. She’ll say he needs to understand that being a part of this baby’s life may have to be enough. Then Adam will embrace her, but his bitterness will remain.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Jack Believes In His Ability
At Jabot, Billy will visit his brother and he’ll tease Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Adam resigning. He’ll joke around that he should take his place. But Billy will be surprised when Jack likes the idea. “You would be an asset here or anywhere else,” Jack will tell him. “I believe in your ability and most of all I believe the best is yet to be revealed.”
The brothers will head to Society and Jack will mention he’s back together with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Billy will congratulate him and tell his brother he deserves to be happy. Then he’ll admit he’s developed feelings for someone. “Believe it or not, it’s Chelsea,” Billy will say. “It looks like you and I both are visiting past relationships.” Although Jack will be surprised, he’ll tell his brother to follow his heart.
Finally, Billy will return to the coffee shop. He’ll take Chelsea’s hand and tell her he got some good advice from Jack. “Care and caution can prevent a crash and burn, and for once I intend to listen.”
